Young Writers Workshop

Location: Massachusetts

Program Description:

The Young Writers Workshop focuses on using informal, playful, creative writing as a way to strengthen skills of language and thinking. Out of these informal writing activities, using techniques of peer response, students develop more polished pieces, ranging from personal narratives to stories, poems, and exploratory essays. Learning to trust one's own voice as a writer is a key goal.

Reviews:

"YWW was one of the best times of my life. I met so many great friends from all over the country that I've kept contact with and written some of my best pieces. It is the most comfortable and warm environment to be in and I wish it would have lasted the whole summer."
