Program Description:

Specializing in affordable, short-term, 2-3 week voluntary service placements in over 100 countries. 1000's of different projects to choose from each year. Basic VFP registration fee is $300 for a 2-3 week project. This includes food, accomodation and work materials. Volunteers have to arrange and pay for transportation. Developing countries charge additional fee upon arrival, which average $200.

Housing: Shared with volunteer group ~ volunteers usually cook in shifts and clean up after themselves. Food is provided in most cases.

Cost / Availability of Financial Aid: Basic VFP registration fee is $300 for a 2-3 week project. This includes food, accomodation and work materials. If volunteers are going to a developing country, they may have to pay an additional fee upon arrival, which varies from about $100-300, depending on the organization they are working with.
