Program Description:

PROMYS/Program in Mathematics for Young Scientists
Do you really love math? In PROMYS, you can live math all summer. You’ll solve unusually challenging problems in number theory, abstract algebra, and geometry and symmetry. You’ll also attend lectures and demonstrations by research mathematicians and be part of a problem-solving group working with a professional mathematician.

Qualifications: Grades 9-12, must be 14 years old by the first date of the program

Program Dates / Length: July 1-August 11, 2012, six weeks

Housing: Participants will stay at a residence hall at Boston University
