Program Description:

Oxbridge Academic Programs has been welcoming intellectually adventurous high school and junior high school students to Europe for over 25 years. Our programs are designed for students in grades 8 to 12, with the goal of giving them the opportunity to live and study in the historic and scholarly centers of learning that are Oxford, Cambridge, Spain, Paris, Montpellier and New York. Our teachers consist of Rhodes, Gates, Marshall and Fulbright Scholars, and top academics from Oxford, Cambridge, and the Sorbonne, among other local universities, as well as creative professionals and performers – all especially chosen for their qualifications and experience, and their love of teaching and young people. We offer over 100 courses in the sciences, humanities, social sciences and creative subjects, transcending traditional classroom limitations and school curricula. Our programs in France and Spain offer French and Spanish language courses for all levels, taught in context by native speakers. Outside of class, students enjoy a variety of field trips, innovative workshops, illustrious guest speakers, and cultural events and social activities. .

Reviews:

"It wasn't too much of an academic learning experience, but more of a way to build character. The cons about it would be how things are planned because the weather seemed to always rain on trips to places outside like London or a caste. At the same time, there aren't too many activities open to everyone, instead, it's first come first serve with limited openings. Otherwise, you make do with the area and hang out with new people. However, there are so many things to do and places to visit in Oxford while you're there and museums as well. It was a fun experience, but expensive. There are people that you meet from all over the world as well, but at the same time, the majority are students from the U.S. Finally, it's a program that you make do with what you get and its one of those experiences that based on how much effort you put in will depend if it was overall a fun experience.
