"I cannot praise the Irish Way enough- but I am going to try. Travelling to Ireland on the Irish Way was the first time I had ever left the country, the first time I had been away for more than a week, and the first time I was not with my family. The Irish Way offered me a safe and amazing experience that opened my eyes to a whole new world. Besides the fact that Ireland is the most beautiful country in the whole entire world...I now know the richness of the culture and Ireland's history thanks to the Irish Way. I come from a family filled with Irish hertiage. Before the Irish Way I was never really sure how to embrace my heritage and be proud of it. But the Irish Way showed me just how magical my heritage is. The Irish Way Program exposed a new part of who I am. I love experiencing new things, travelling to new lands, and learning about new cultures. Because of this enriching experience I have decided to major in International Relations in college and plan to return to Ireland ASAP. Through the Irish Way I also leanred more about how I am socially. I came home from Ireland with four new best friends and tons of other really close friends. Irish Wayer's are put into a situation where they need to be outgoing to an extent, friendly, and warm to make friend with each other. The IW taught me how to make friends and by the 2nd night I was completely comfortable with my surroundings and did not even have an ounce of homesickness! Upon returning to the states, my new IW friends and I have keep in constant contact and gotten together a few times. I will never forget the Irish Way Program and all that it has done for me. I reccommend this program to any student up for the adventure of their life! "

"Two of my sons were part of the program. Patrick in 2006 and Ryan in 2007. My comments are simple-- the program is outstanding, the counselors educated, caring and great role models. Both sons returned with a rich appreciation for their culture and a new and improved sense of purpose. Kathleen L. Raines"

"Coming from a family of Irish lineage, this experience was eye-opening, enriching, and awe-inspiring. Going abroad for so long gave me an irreplaceable perspective of myself as a member of the global community, by being showed the cast cultural differences in another English-speaking country. Of course, the most unforgettable aspect of the trip are the friendships I made over the course of the four weeks. I went into the experience not knowing anyone, and came out with a family. I'll never forget the times I shared with my fellow Irish Way'ers! This experience changed my life. I returned home inspired, and now plan to do a study abroad in Dublin for at least a semester when I go to college. The Irish Way also features classes in Irish Literature, History, Irish-American History, Irish Studies, and Gaelic, along with many workshops ranging from dance to scone-baking to Gaelic football. The program did a great job of exposing the participants to all the regions of the country. Every moment was precious, and I didn't even think about homesickness. I highly highly recommend this program to anyone looking for the best summer of their lives, explore the world, or enrich their Irish heritage!"

"The Irish Way was an amazing experience. The program is structured with classes in the morning, activities in the afternoon and travel all around Ireland. It is a rare opportunity to learn about Ireland and its history and culture. There are a lot of fun activities, including trips to the theatre, hurling matches and visits to the beach! Students make life-long friends and alumni are now sending their kids on the program. You can even get credit for the program from your high school and it looks great on your college applications. Definitely a life changing experience. You don't want to miss it."
