Honors Summer Institute

Program Description:

The Honors Summer Institute is a supervised residential college experience that lets motivated and talented students sample college life. Students who have completed their sophomore or junior years of high school take a three-credit college class from Honors College faculty. Students will also engage in a wide array of supervised social and educational activities during the program.

Qualifications: current 10th and 11th graders

Program Dates / Length: July 10 - July 31, 2010 - 3 weeks

Housing: On campus living. Each student is assigned a single bedroom in a 4-bedroom suite. Although the residence halls are co-ed, only students of the same gender are assigned as suitemates.

Cost / Availability of Financial Aid: Program costs: $2,500 Tuition: $365 (in-state), $1,680 (out-of-state) Florida students eligible for tuition waiver via dual enrollment. Some scholarships available based on need. Need based scholarships available.
