Global Issues Seminar

Location: Indiana

Program Description:

Engage in a stimulating one-week exploration of the future challenges facing young Catholic leaders. You will examine how the values we possess might interact with political, economic, and social realities to produce viable strategies in the future. A particular emphasis this year will be placed on the prospects for Christian-Muslim dialogue and the challenges of living in a post 9-11 world.

Qualifications: Grade 11. Highly selective. Minimum test scores are: 700 Verbal/Critical Reasoning SAT, 700 Math, 30 ACT or at least a PSAT Selection Index of 200.

Program Dates / Length: One week. July 22-July 29, 2012

Housing: In campus residence halls.

Cost / Availability of Financial Aid: All program, meal and housing and extracurricular expenses, including round-trip transportation to Notre Dame, are paid for by the University. Note: All accepted students are required to provide a non-refundable fee of $150 to reserve a space in the program. This will be the only cost of the program.

Credit Awarded: One college credit
