Program Description:

City Year is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting democracy through citizen service, civic leadership, and social entrepreneurship. City Year's signature program is our youth corps, which employs a diverse group of 17-24 year olds for a year of full-time service. These corps members mostly work in elementary schools, concentrating on classroom tutoring and one-on-one mentoring.
